Meet The Therapist - James Lentini
I am a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in drug and addiction studies. My approach to therapy incorporates an integrative blend of humanistic, existential, psychodynamic, cognitive, and behavioral therapeutic frameworks. I have experience working in inpatient settings, intensive outpatient programs, and leading substance abuse groups.
I have a degree in Athletic Training and a background in human physiology, exercise science, and nutrition. I enjoy working out, Brazilian jiu jitsu, writing, reading, and gaming. I became a therapist so that I could have the opportunity to help people navigate through their difficult emotions, learn how to improve relationships with others and with themselves, and orient their energy toward what will actually bring fulfillment.
Life can get quite complicated and the choices we need to make every day can be difficult sometimes. You are the hero of your journey. You will set your own goals, uncover your own values, and gain personal insight.
I will act as your guide to provide essential support, accountability, and reflection as you progress through your trials and tribulations.

Our hours of operations are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm.
What does the first session look like?
The first appointment is used for me to get to know about you and your life. We will explore your goals and review any questions you may have for me.
What do I need for a teletherapy session?
All you need is a reliable internet connection, a private space, and a computer or mobile device with a camera and microphone. Sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.
How long are the sessions, and how often should I schedule them?
Most sessions last around 45 to 60 minutes. The frequency (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) depends on your personal goals and needs, which we’ll discuss during our first appointment.
What if I feel nervous about starting therapy?
It’s completely normal to feel anxious about trying something new. My approach is welcoming, non-judgmental, and tailored to your comfort level. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
Does insurance cover teletherapy, and do you offer payment plans?
Many insurance providers now include telehealth coverage. I’ll help you check with your insurer about your benefits. If you’re paying out of pocket, we can discuss options like sliding-scale fees or payment plans to make therapy accessible.
